What to Expect at the 2025 Capital Challenge Horse Show
Every fall, equestrians from across the country gather in Upper Marlboro, Maryland for one of the sport’s most anticipated events—the Capital Challenge Horse Show. From September 27 to October 5, the Prince George’s Equestrian Center hosts top-notch riders, setting the stage for the Indoor season.
Life Indoors and Outdoors
While much of the competition takes place in the arena, riders actually spend more time outside at the barns and schooling rings. Early mornings, long afternoons, and quick trips between stabling and warm-up mean exposure to the elements—even when the highlight classes run indoors.
Why Skincare Matters at Capital Challenge
Outdoor exposure: Riders, grooms, trainers, and families spend hours outside each day.
Indoor conditions: Arena lighting and recycled air can leave skin feeling dry, tight, or irritated.
Long days: With back-to-back classes, it’s easy to forget self-care—but your skin never forgets.
✨ Skincare Tip: Even though Capital Challenge is an indoor show, sunscreen is non-negotiable. UV rays reach skin during schooling, barn time, and walks between rings. Our Antioxidant Sunscreen SPF 40 protects your face and body, while the Brush-On Mineral Powder SPF 30 makes touch-ups quick and easy ringside.
